Located at the north bank of the Songhua River, Harbin Siberian Tiger Park is the largest natural park for wild Siberian tigers in the world, covering an area of 1.44 million. Harbin Siberian Tiger Park was opened to public in 1996, with the aim to save and protect the Siberian Tiger -- an endangered species.

The Siberian Tiger Park now mainly consists of Adult Tiger Park, Young Cub Park, Popular Science exhibition and altogether 11 districts. It is available to visit 100 pure siberian tigers, 8 white tigers, 1 snow tiger, two tiglons, 3 black American tigers and 20 African lions in the Siberian Tiger Park. Since its open to the public, the Siberian Tiger Park has attracted millions of tourists home and aboard, over 250,000 each year.

There are more than 700 pure-bred Siberian tigers in Harbin Siberian Tiger Park, with 100 visible to visitors. Staying inside a bus, protected by wire mesh, visitors can see the tigers walking around. If you are brave enough, you can buy live animals to feed to the tigers, including ducks, chickens and even cows. In addition to the Siberian Tigers, white tigers, lions, lynxes, leopards and several other big cat types can be found in Harbin Siberian Tiger Park.
